Tangible Assets are physical assets, such as property, buildings, plant and equipment. In general, the higher the ratio of NTA per share to the Market Price the more attractive the company. NTA per share is calculated as all of a company’s assets except patents, trademarks, and other intangible assets minus all liabilities and the par value of preferred stock, divided by the number of shares outstanding.
