Roger Montgomery is the Managing Director and founder of Clime Asset Management, a company that he incorporated in 2001. Clime Capital Ltd, a public investment company of which Roger is Chairman, listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in February 2004.

Roger takes a common sense, long-term approach to investing. His goal is to purchase, at a rational price, part shares of wonderful businesses. Roger is not a frequent trader of securities, and is therefore not concerned with the everyday emotional and irrational fluctuations of the market. He prefers to wait for opportunities and buy a meaningful amount of shares in just a handful of wonderful companies.

Roger is passionate about helping investors understand his common sense and successful approach to value investing. He is one of only two individuals to be twice awarded as the Securities Institute of Australia’s Best Presenter. Roger is a regular crowd pleaser at ASX Investor Hours around Australia, and contributes to ABC regional radio from 5.30pm every Monday. Roger also features as an industry expert on Radio 3AW and the ABC’s 4 Corners, Lateline and Landline programs.

Roger’s 14 years experience in the Australian securities and derivative industry includes equities analysis, strategy, dealing and trading at some of the world’s largest financial institutions including the Jardine Fleming group, Bankers Trust and Merrill Lynch.

He has held qualifications as a Registered Representative of the Sydney Futures Exchange, a Licensed Securities Dealer and Licensed Futures Adviser and Level 1 and 2 Derivatives accreditation status with the Australian Securities Exchange. Roger holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and is a Senior Fellow of FINSIA, formerly the Securities Institute of Australia.

Geoffrey J Wilson, BSc, FSIA
Non-Executive Director, Clime Capital Limited

Geoffrey Wilson has 26 years experience in the Australian and international securities industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Graduate Management Qualification. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors and a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

In addition to being a Non-executive Director of Clime Capital Limited, Geoffrey is the Chairman of WAM Capital Limited, Wilson Investment Fund Limited and the Australian Stockbrokers Foundation Limited. Prior to founding WAM he was an Executive Director responsible for Global Institutional Stockbroking for Prudential Bache Securities (Australia) Limited. Geoffrey has held senior positions with Potter Partners in London and with McIntosh Hamson Hoare Govett in New York.

Geoffrey is a Director of Cadence Capital Limited and investment management companies including Wilson Asset Management (International) Pty Ltd, Boutique Asset Management Pty Ltd, MAM Pty Ltd. Geoffrey is also Director of the Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation.

Anthony Hockey, MECommMgt, MComm, BEcon

Anthony Hockey has over 12 years experience in strategy and business performance improvement primarily in the financial services and wealth management industry. Anthony is a Non-Executive Director of Clime Capital Limited and Managing Director of Hocfin Consulting Pty Limited

He previously held the position of Head of Strategy and Corporate Advice with ING Australia and was responsible for assessing mergers and acquisitions, providing due diligence analysis and operations integrations advice. He was also Strategy and Planning Manager, Head of Project Management (ING Funds Management) and Operations Executive (Australian Portfolio Managers). He has held the position of principal consultant, PriceWaterhouseCoopers (Management Consulting Services) where he led business improvement initiatives for companies operating across a wide range of industries.

Anthony holds a Master of E-commerce Management, MGSM, a Master of Commerce Degree, University of NSW and Bachelor of Economics Degree, University of Sydney.

Julian Gosse
Independent, Non-Executive Director, Clime Capital Limited

Julian Gosse has extensive experience in banking and broking both in Australia and overseas. He has previously worked in London for Rowe and Pitman, in the United States for Janney Montgomery and Scott and in Canada for Wood Gundy. He has been involved in the establishment, operation and ownership of several small businesses and is currently working as an executive director of Advanced Management Planning Limited.

Julian is a Director of ITL Limited of which he became Chairman in January 2005. He is also a Director of Wilson Investment Fund Limited, Clime Capital Limited and Blue Chip Financial Solutions Limited.
